Job Description
Install and configure several 11g, 12c, 19c databases on Linux and UNIX platforms
Install and implement 12c, 19c RAC and Multitenant Configuration and Oracle ASM (Standalone) in AWS Cloud
Backup procedures using RMAN
Monitoring Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control
Provision database / Created database in AWS Cloud
Perform Import and Export using Oracle Data Pump. Clone database and Clone Pluggable database using HOT Snapshot
Upgrade/Migrate the production and development databases. Applying Patches, Patch sets, CPU updates
ASR monitoring and working with Oracle for ASR Service Request updates. Perform SQL tuning, System tuning, Database, and Instance tuning
Pluggable database maintenance and relocate pluggable database. Recovery of Database using RMAN
Job Required Skills:
Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in IT, MIS, or related engineering (e.g. computer science, electronics, CIS, etc.) field.
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in installing and configuring databases on Linux and UNIX platforms. Experience therein including 1 year of experience in Multitenant Configuration and Oracle ASM (Standalone) in AWS Cloud.
Location: Irving, TX. 40 hours. M-F. Some travel (15%) to client sites at unanticipated locations within U.S. with expenses paid by the employer.
